New Albany Christian Childcare is a ministry of New Albany First Church of the Nazarene (NAFCON). We are happy to be a part of this loving church family and we both feel that the Lord has truly blessed us with the opportunity to be the new directors.
We have many things we would love to see happen in the days, weeks, months and years to come. Our number one priority, however, is to keep God first and foremost in our planning. As we see in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Our goals are to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive development of the children of our center. The only way this will be accomplished is that we all recognize that we each play a vital role as part of the team. Our team is represented by: the children, our NACCC families, the co-directors, Carla Gutierrez (our office assistant), our teachers, Pastor Kim (our Chaplain) Reecea King (our cook), Tammy Pierce (our substitute cook), Larry Watt (our facilities manager), Susan Elkins (our book keeper), and our childcare board. It will take all of us working together to make this center all that God would want it to be.
